Home > Historical Work

Stuffy Disclaimer:

These pages are all the product of a less academic, and much younger me.  I've not put any effort into redoing them to my (now) higher standards. They stand here as a historical collection of web pages produced in the 90s.

Doom beta screen shots
A collection of images chronicling the progression of doom from beta to it's first release. These images were later picked up by others and presented in more professional form, but my page was the first.

Geocities art page
For a while I really enjoyed making synthetic art via very heavy use of blurring and sharpening.

VA Tech home page
The first home page I actually finished.

The Stunts Shrine
A page celebrating the old DOS game Stunts. Includes a semi-academic study to determine which was better: Stunts! or 4D-driving.

HyperTextComputerHardwareReview
An idea I had to bind together independent hardware and software reviewers on the internet into one searchable source. Never got off the ground, perhaps due to a lack of marketing effort.

The original RC Software website
My first (full) attempt at a website for distributing the software I had written.

The final RC Software website
A much more professional website for RC software, discontinued later due to the fact that rcsoftware.com was already registered by somebody else. Includes links to Hail and it's source.

The Robinson School for Home Study
A spoof site for some of my home schooling activities, and also a place to get free storage of the hail.zip file.

The Search List
A web page allowing one to use one of several different web search engines.  Of course, at the time, AltaVista was the only one worth using.
